    FAQs

    •

Can you analyze based on my Moon sign (rasi) and the star (nakshatra) only?

The analysis based on your rasi is a generic approach. Not all persons belonging to the same rasi experience the same results. The seed for all the life events is present in your horoscope. So we prefer analyzing your birth horoscope.

    •

I am starting Shukra dasa next month. Will I achieve a rich life during that time?

The planets offer results based on their ownership, occupation, and stellar connectivity in your birth horoscope. Without thoroughly studying your horoscope, the conclusion of a positive/negative time patch is not a good practice.

    •

I have planet Jupiter (Guru) in my 8th house this year. I was told it will be a very difficult year for me. Is it true?

The placement of any planet in the 8th house needs careful analysis. The transiting planet may offer good/bad results based on its strength/weakness in your birth chart. So analysing your birth chart is the way to go.

    •

I have two different horoscopes. One showing Saturn (Shani) in Makaram and the other one showing Shani in Kumbha. Which one of the two is my correct horoscope?

The RK Astros team studies horoscopes based on Drik Panchang school. In our approach the planetary placements are marked in degree:minute:second format representing the planets in a 360degree continuum. You may choose the horoscope showing the planetary degrees as the accurate one.

    •

My sister has got Mars (Kuja/Mangal/Sevvai/Angaraka) in her 8th house. She is 33 years old and hasn’t got married yet as many astrologers are calling it Manglik dosha?

It is absolutely deplorable to pass judgment on horoscopes without proper analysis. However, the placement of Mars in the 8th house may be unfavorable but whether your sister is Manglik (or not) needs to be finalized only after going through the exemptions for the Manglik dosha based on the lagna, placement of the Mars in a specific sign, and the planets conjoined and/or aspecting Mars.

My younger brother was born on a solar eclipse day. Three years later my father passed away. Is my father’s death due to my brother’s birth on an eclipse day?

Let’s take a step back and think.. On the eclipse hour there may be 100s of children born on that very day. Did everyone lose their father? Your question requires analysis of the 9th house and the Sun in your brother’s horoscope and the lagna, maraka and bhadaka sthana in your father’s horoscope.
